Sidney Crosby

Almost 3 weeks ago I got checked, accidentally, playing hockey.
I landed smack on my head.
Yes, I was wearing a helmet.

If I had been paying attention, I would have seen the person coming towards me.
As Don Cherry would say "keep your head up kids".

I woke up the next morning with some whip lash, and sore back, popped some Advil and went for a long xc ski.

I went about my normal routine, slipping and sliding as I walked back and forth to school. I was much more exhausted than normal. I attributed this to my ski.

Turns out the slip sliding was 'concussion' related, and the headache was not just caffeine withdrawl. I clued in on day 3.

A fine doctor told me it would be wise to take care of my brain. "It's kind of important you know!" So, I took it easy for a couple of weeks.

The headache lasted about 2 weeks as did the blackouts.

I went for a little run today. I felt 'normal'.

If you find me doing funny things, perhaps my brain isn't quite right yet!

Just call me Sidney Crosby!
